About the Conference
Belgrade stands where the Sava meets the Danube: two rivers, two currents, one point of convergence. That is the idea behind SCLI 2027.
Construction law is itself a confluence. Common law traditions meet civil law frameworks. Employers and contractors bring competing narratives to the same set of facts. Lawyers, engineers, delay analysts and quantum experts approach the same dispute from different streams, and must find, somewhere, a point where they meet.
Over three days at the Sava Centar, the international construction law community will gather to examine where those currents now run together.

- 1 September 2026: website, registration and call for abstracts open
- 15 December 2026: deadline for abstracts
- January 2027: notification of accepted abstracts
- February 2027: full programme and speaker list published
- 29 September to 1 October 2027: conference, Sava Centar, Belgrade
