Conference cost

The cost of the SCL conference is £650. There is a £50 discount for SCL and ACCL members.

The SCL Conference price includes one free ticket to the Cocktail Reception and Gala Dinner. Single day booking may be made at a cost of £400 per day, excluding dinner.

The Cocktail Reception is open to non conference delegate guests at an additional cost of £30. This event may be in two sessions from 7pm - 9pm and from 9pm - 11pm. Tickets will be issued for the allocated session before the event.

The Gala Dinner is also open to all SCL and ACCL members and their guests not attending the conference at a cost of £75 per head. Tables of 10 are available.

The President’s Reception will be open to all SCL conference attendees and their guests, and to all SCL members, at an extra cost of £30 per head.

The ACCL Conference is open to all SCL conference attendees and all SCL members at an extra cost of £35 per head.

Cancellation

The SCL Organising Committee is committed to staging a successful conference; however it reserves the right to cancel or postpone the SCL Conference in which case a full refund will be offered. Should you wish to cancel your booking once made a refund of 50% will be given up to 1st September 2008 after which no refunds will be given.

Bookings

Bookings may be made online via this website. You will be asked to select a username and password for this site (which will enable you to log in in future and benefit from pre-conference materials that will be made available to conference participants).

Please note that multiple bookings cannot be made via one registration process. Each booking has to be registered individually, by the delegate or their authorised agent. However, conference charges for more than one delegate can be paid together after booking provided that the webmaster is notified by email of the names associated with the payment.

If you choose to make your payment by bank transfer, please: 

  1. Instruct your bank to quote your name and so that we can identify your payment on our bank statement.
  2. You must pay ALL transfer fees.
  3. Tell the Administration office (either by telephone or email) that you have chosen to pay for the conference using this method.
